WJEC Level 1/2 in Engineering
Exam Board: WJEC: Engineering
This course is designed for students who are interested in engineering and would like to acquire knowledge and understanding about the engineering sector. The course is taught through three core units of work;
Unit 1: To improve the design of an engineered product (25%).
Until 2: To make a high quality engineered product (50%).
Unit 3: External exam to assess problem solving skills (25%).
The core elements of environment awareness, engineering techniques and engineering principles are taught through a mixture of practical and written assignments in order to build students’ understanding.
