Here at George Pindar School we are working alongside North Yorkshire Police as part of Operation Cracker, part of the EDGE Project (Enriching, Developing and Generating Eastfield Scheme).
We are looking for volunteers to support those in the community that suffer with dementia.
You will receive full training from the Alzheimer’s Society and be a qualified Dementia Friend. At George Pindar School we are also training students as Youth Dementia Friends. Is this something you would be interested in doing?
