Letter from the Principal – 3 April 2020
Easter break
It seems very strange to be writing to you about an Easter break during these unprecedented times after the first two weeks of the school closure. We are extremely proud of our students who have engaged so thoroughly with our online learning offer over the last fortnight; their hard work will pay off when we return to school. We are aware that some students have found it more difficult to access the work and to that end, a new video has been uploaded on our school website to provide further support and guidance.

The Y8s (+1 Y7) did fantastically well yesterday at the 7 a-side football tournament at Malton! Their togetherness, work ethic and attitude allowed the team to be unbeaten in 6 of their 7 games. Well done boys! #proudtobepindar #thrivewithhope #football #schoolsport pic.twitter.com/CeGw…
Members of our after school ‘Culture Club’ have been busy crafting to raise money for the victims of the Turkey & Syria earthquakes. All gifts cost £1 or less and are available to buy at the back of the assembly hall at morning break this week. #proudtobepindar #thrivewithhope pic.twitter.com/YPKg…
The first round of the GPS Chess Tournament took place in the library after school today. 16 players went toe to toe in 8 matches. Some were easily won & some were nail-bitingly close. The next round takes place next Thursday. #proudtobepindar #thrivewithhope #chesstournament pic.twitter.com/yJpJ…
