Coronavirus Update – 16 March 2020
As you will be aware, the Coronavirus has now been classed as a pandemic and I would therefore like to reassure parents that the school has been in contact with Hope Sentamu Learning Trust, NYCC and the Department for Education regarding operating procedures. The school is following all the recommended guidance issued by the Department for Education (DfE) on a daily basis. There are notices throughout the school regarding hand washing with a range of hygiene prevention measures in place including the use of tissues and sanitising hands.
Another opportunity to celebrate success at George Pindar School this morning as students in Y10 whose attitude is good or excellent across all subjects had a pain au chocolat and a hot chocolate during tutor time.
Well done to all of them.

At the start of this half-term, some of our Y7 & 8 students took part in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge. Huge shout out to the students below who did exceptionally well and earned bronze, silver or gold certificates for their efforts. Well done! #ProudToBePindar #ThriveWithHope
Celebrating success again this morning as students in Y9 whose attitude is good or excellent across all subjects had a pain au chocolat and a hot chocolate during tutor time. What a treat for a Wednesday morning!
Well done to all of them.
